The owners’ of this lovely contemporary home had chosen a fabulous eggplant wall color for their family room space—a good start.  However, the furniture arrangement and the placement of accessories and artwork did not reflect the vibrancy and warmth of the color chosen.

Builder’s white walls and heavy, cluttered bookcases make this family room feel cramped and confusing! 

After painting the walls a vibrant red at the homeowner’s request, our team went to work redesigning this room.  Moving the bookcases to the other side of the room helped to create balance and lightness and also allowed us to create a “photo wall” for the homeowners.  The wet bar and surrounding wall area were creatively rearranged to showcase collectibles and original artwork.  The result – a warm and relaxing room that embraces and honors this family’s personality!
